Participate in Clothing Circularity
“A circular economy is based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and regenerating natural systems.” Ellen MacArthur Foundation
caring for your garments
Upcycling is a great way to repurpose clothing that is no longer wanted. Clothing with tears, stains, and rips are often rejected from donation sites and thrown away. Upcycling those garments will allow the material to remain in the usage cycle and out of our landfills.
make your own crow top
Consumers have all the buying power. It is worth your time to question some of the garments and companies before buying. Do they align with your values? Will the garment last? The last thing you want is to buy a garment and have it sit in your closet unworn or rarely worn.
